Third Cup of Europe on intellectual games was completed among universities |

Competitions lasted from November, 9 to November, 11 on territory of the Saint Petersburg University in Petergoff. The 25 best teams of countries-participants fought in 3 nominations.
Team of Kyiv-Mohyla intellectual club «NaUKMA-Infocom» took the two first places in competitions on «Brain-ring» and «Erudite-quartet» аnd third place in «What? Where? When?» The first place in «What? Where? When?» won the team of Belorussia.
Our team took part in the Cup thanks to support of its general sponsor, telecommunication company «Infocom». Team also expresses its gratitude to the Student Council of NaUKMA for support.
Despite of the fact that the team presented Ukraine and became the champion of Ukraine this year, all its achievements and awards, collecting of money, necessary for a journey, was not succeeded. For instance “Ukrzaliznycya” didn’t provide discount tickets to Saint Petersburg for members of team.
At the same time we hope that all statements from the leaders of different levels about development of youth, importance of its intellectual and cultural initiatives, will have less declarative nature in the future. We invite Ukrainian mass-media to support Ukrainian intellectual motion by lighting up our achievements on ІІІ Cup of Europe in intellectual games.
A team «NaUKMA-Infokom» is a champion and double vice-champion of Ukraine, triple champion of Kyiv among the student teams. Besides, team „Infocom” is the winner of international synchronous tournament among educational establishments „TUZ” , series of tournaments „World Intellect Day” of 2006 etc.
